I ordered a first edition book of poems by G. K. Chesterton from this bookstore. I was pleasantly surprised it arrived earlier than expected and the book was in excellent condition. I'm planning to give it as a gift so I was so pleased with this purchase. Moreover, the manager was so nice to speak with, knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend this book shop! It's hard to find stores like this anymore. They're as rare as the books they sell!

I recommend this bookstore to every local book lover I know. It's not a big space but it's packed from floor to ceiling with a wonderful selection of books, old and new. There is a special room for collectible books (first editions, signed books, rare books) that you could spend hours in. I highly recommend reserving at least an hour to browse and enjoy!

I bought this book to replace the copy I once owned. It is a used copy, the price was great and free shipping. Because it was free shipping I was expecting it to take a while to get to me and that it would be stuck in a large envelope or something similar. NO. This came quickly about a week. It was first wrapped in a protective plastic cover then it was placed in a cardboard book shipper! I was so pleasantly surprised at the care they took to get this book to me! Which, by the way, is in like new condition! I am so happy!! I highly recommend Yesterday's Muse for all of your book needs! I will definitely be purchasing from them again! Thank you so much Yesterday's Muse Books for the quality my book and the care you took shipping it to me!

Purchased a book from Yesterday's Muse on line and had a great experience. The seller responded to my purchase very quickly, then, when I emailed them a question, Jonathan responded immediately. The booklets I purchased arrived in perfect condition because of the care that was taken by Yesterday's Muse when they packaged my purchase. What a great store!

I love supporting local. This shop was able to locate a rare book for me and sell it to me at an exceptional price. The store was stocked with different books on various topics, and I can't wait to go back and parooze shelves!

Lovely shop, excellent collections with a room full of rare collectors items. The prices are extremely reasonable with good deals too. The owner was very kind and helpful, will definitely be returning!

Yesterday’s Muse has been up and running for 17 years now and is by far the best bookshop I have ever been to on my travels. No funky smells or a speck of dust anywhere! Immaculately kept with a huge range of impeccably categorised books for a collector, novice or an avid reader. From a selection of mystery, world literature, fantasy, history, biographies and much much more…you will be spoilt for choice. There is something for everyone to enjoy. If you are looking for a in-depth personal service then look no further as Jonathan is your man. Meeting Jonathan was a pleasure. His attention to detail, structured approach to book organisation, his ability to listen and sense your interests and extrapolate related interests is highly impressive. We purchased the 1796 A Mathematical and Philosophical Dictionary by Charles Hutton. The oldest book they have is a manuscript from 1630 by Galileo Galilei! We are so looking forward to dropping in again soon and stumbling across another gem.
